Faithnetsouthwest is working in partnership with SPAN to identify and promote good practice by faith groups in the field of financial advice and positive access to financial advice givers that faith groups and self-help groups can benefit from.  We are encouraging faith groups to make their buildings available as venues for professional advice giving, as well as taking up training to enable them to give a basic level of financial advice and direction to financial advice advisers e.g. Citizen’s Advice Bureaux, that are able to help.

Bristol CAB offers free workshops on money skills. The workshops are responsive to participants’ needs and interests, and facilitated by an experienced and well-informed adviser from Bristol CAB.
